The reason it's being downvoted is that the OP is not suggesting anything actionable or even remotely feasible. Riot will never move back to vBulletin due to the problems of scale they were dealing with, so suggesting that they should is not accomplishing anything.

If change is desired, propose it in a way that augments the current Boards functionality. There is no use in asking them to revert to the previous platform, because the problems they had to deal with far outweigh any they deal with on the Boards.

It doesn't need to be a collegiate dissertation to be actionable, here's the actions: Stop focusing on grafting a bland reddit clone onto a perfectly functional forum system and use your scaleable non vbulletin boards to make a legitimate forum that isn't the worst of both worlds.

He is right that the original forum was easier to navigate, instead of having 2 views that both hide certain information from the user (reddit mode you don't know the order of the posts, normal mode you don't know who's talking to who because no one quotes anyone on these boards, and there's no auto quote feature), it'd be better to focus on the forums aspect since a reddit already exists. These boards try to do two different things at once and falls flat on its face, and I don't see any action at all being taken at all to try and make it better.

You have no idea why other people are down voting. You do not have the ability to speak for other people or to read minds so stop acting like you do. Are you so incompetent that you couldn't figure out that the suggestion was...wait for it...remove down voting.

I suggested going back to a classic forum theme, how is that now a suggestion ? If they don,t want to use vBulletin they can use another coding. Heck I'd take valve steam forum over this ...
