if you have ever typed this phrase in chat. please do us all a favor and DONT PLAY RANKED. until a surrender vote passes or a nexus explodes, you need to keep your tryhard panties on at all times. and if you actually DO give up. KEEP IT OUT OF CHAT, and at least ACT like you're playing seriously. typing "im done" in ranked should be an immediate ban no questions asked

I dunno about the immediate ban part, but I definitely agree that it needs to be kept out of chat. It's disheartening for the rest of the team, and if a lane is going even, but someone says that and lowers morale, that can be all it takes to lose the lane. Not to mention, Riot seems to take this sort of thing serious enough that there's even a report category for having a negative attitude/giving up. So it would seem like they agree that this sort of thing really needs to be avoided.

There really isn't a reason for the solo Q players to even talk in chat, for example you can just hit tab and click on the enemies spells, dragon, baron etc and it tells the time for the dragons and barons but it only tells the enemies spells are down instead.
Point is if you tend to use chat be mindful to have 10% useful information and 90% trash as useful information.

People go on tilt if they go 0-1 or if they don't pick up the kills when the jungler ganks, I can't control 4/9 of random people's tilt factor only my own. It's like telling people how or what to do in game and expecting them to actually listen even if you're 18-0 and they are 0-18 do you really expect them to listen and/or not be on tilt to being with ? The Report situation is a joke, I'v been sent so many of these types of messages from Riot saying like " Thank you X player is not banned" or something like that, next game I see X player and 2 games later X player again.
YES, Riot want to deal with toxic players and situations but at the same time they know close to 60% of the community are toxic in some way and at the end of the day that's 60% of DELICIOUS $ MONEY.

At the end of the day, I myself just mute everyone because whatever my teammates has to say is just the same ol' stick that I'v seen in the past 2 years. If I lose games mainly because of the mute situation well I don't expect to hit Challenger to begin with anyhow.

Yeah, people often say " I'm done" because they're not the ones that are winning and coming back to potentially win the game as it's just too hard for them to comprehend so they give up easily.
Another reason on why I instant mute EVERYONE once the game begins so I don't see that crap but instead just focus on the game.

im fully aware that "tryhard" is used as an insult towards competitive players. however in this context. that isntwhat i was doing and yes. i got a chat ban. yes. it was deserved.

scazzman /mute all causes its own problems. And if i had my way "refusing to communicate with the team " would still be a report category.

Your asuming that the person who 'Mute all' tells the players they do Right ?

You missed the point! Per normal, I can't believe I am even going to try to explain this but I will.

If you tell others you are 'Muting' them, then this could be ( not my rule mind you) but could be considered harassment, intimidation or any # of other things. If you Mute and don't tell others then this is Using the System correctly.

SCAZZMAN, really dude ? You know this already. LOL the funny part is I do agree with some of your OS but, it's the 'try-hard' that gets me. ;)

What gets me worse is the way people that get into trouble most, want to get validation from here. Most people adhere to the rules of the game. But, Dude GL in the future.
