It's fine for you to think these things for yourself. but for christ sake KEEP IT OUT OF CHAT. ESPECIALLY in ranked. if you're tilted. please don't drag your team down with you. when you admit to giving up. you tilt your teammates. make people start typing, and make the people trying to win have to focus on getting you to play seriously or at the very least shut up rather then play the game

another thing. never tell people "its just a game" while you may mean well. this has negative implications. it implies that you may be not playing seriously. and if your goal is to calm people down. this is one of the WORST things to say in chat

Sarutobi5 votesI gotta say it really helped in my last game yesterday. We were losing very early game, down a couple turrets/objectives. The Surrender was called i would say at least 2-3 times. We pulled through and ended up winning with the help of Elder Dragon and 2 Barons. People just need to be more positive. People give up way to easily/early when the game can easily be won if you stick together as a team!
So Amazing 5 votesI've been described as " Annoyingly positive " by quite a few teammates due to the fact if we're losing ill repeatedly reassure my team that they aren't bad (Even if they might be) and continuously use phrases like "I'm sorry we'll get them next time " , "I'll try to roam up to help you when i can" , "It's a rough start but we'll get through it!" or "It's okay to be annoyed , It just means you're trying your best , Thanks." A little praise/understanding goes a long way

The game was still miserable though, and I still would've been happier getting out of it. If every lane lost, your jungler has no control over their jungle, your only hope of winning is the other team throwing, and this is all in a normal game. Why play another 15 minutes in a 20 minute game?
If my team is actually winning and it's just me getting fucked then I'll try to be cautiously optimistic, but spending another 15 minutes being miserable is a waste of time.
If you're not in ranked, why double your time in a shitty game?

I say that sometimes, but only when the first blood is something really stupid, like solo invading their jungle, or chasing an enemy champ back into their jungle. Definitely not constructive in any way, but I've played for so long now that I can tell when someone does something accidentally vs when they are just "that bad". A few seasons back I kept track of these types of games and I was correct in guessing that we would lose something like 89% of the time.

Baka Red1 votesBut the result of your "gg" is usually tilting to your ally. For most people hearing "gg" after they fuck up means in practice "That dude gave up and thinks I am a loser." That won't in general be taken like you think it is. You might want to keep your "gg" to yourself and do something positive instead - or at least not be negative like you seem to be doing now.

i guess in my opinion its better to lose fast due to quitters than to lose those soul crushing 40 min torture games because of optimists

Ozumat1 votesI'll let you in on a little secret. If you're the guy trying to lead your tilted team to victory, first of all don't type and second, use the "On my way" ping often. It is the least tilting ping sound, and it can even be said that it is un-tilting, as it subconsciously communicates to your team that you know what you're doing. It's also associated with good feels, like receiving a gank, and is most often used when ahead. This works best if you do have a plan, but even using it for small things, like going to ward, diverts attention away from the argument and towards what you are doing, thus slowly restoring your teammates' focus on the game.
Tausaga Fou1 votesIt's partially due to the champ I play making it semi-viable, but if I'm tilted, I just go kamikaze split push... I might die a lot, but usually I can run away. That way if I'm pushing a lane and a champ or two has to come get me, the rest of my team can hopefully win a team fight while I've got it lopsided, or the enemy will come after me instead of pushing an objective they should really be pushing.
