i feel like it might be time for riot to take a few risks and be willing to sacrifice a few innocent players for the greater good. trolls are out of control and so far, everything riot has done has just made it easier to ruin games.

But yeah as someone said earlier suggestions? the 4 punishment tier is fairly effective don't suggest ip bans- it never works in theory don't suggest comp bans- doesn't work in theroy
Magical Player1 votesit doesn't remove the problem, merely let the problem stay longer, as that solution entails is banning ips/comps which does generally more harm than good, banning a college ip for example would ban thousands of users depending on school, just to punish 1 user banning a comp, could ban many users if the comp is shared among users such as family ban 1 sibling not all 3.

it's not an IP ban, just an install ban. re downloading the client would erase it. you just have to wait a few hours

Okay 3 people share a computer you ban 1 person for xyz reasons now the computer is locked from league of legends the remaining 2 can no longer play league either as a side effect of this you've now banned 3 users for the actions of 1 user. GG
In addition I can have the entire client backed up on a thumb drive, and reinstalled in under 15 mins so the solution of forcing a reinstall is also not viable as was mentioned in that post

it's not like they are losing their accounts, and i feel like for every neutral or positive player this affects, 1000 toxics will now have to wait longer to ruin a game
