Riot behavior department is lazy. They always have and always go for the easy route, then continue to pat themselves on the back for doing nothing about the real problem.
From a coding perspective, inting is a LOT harder to detect.
If the code just checked "If clicked near mid tower and died", what if the play was to turret dive mid and have the person with the most consecutive deaths tank and die as the team will get the most out of that scenario and give the least away? That would be unfair to ban that dude that tanked the turret shots.
Sure you can code exceptions, but how many exceptions can one code? Eventually the code becomes overly large that it isn't functionable any more and there will still be cases of inting cos people find a way around the code and the cases.
just had a 15 death sona bm all game how she was on a winning streak and we shouldn't ping her to back. Shes the reason we lost cause of her 15 deaths she decided to int to the other team because she refused to listen to pings from the team but hey its just a bad game LUL
Punishment based on chat logs is handled by an automated system. Intentionally feeding reports are manually reviewed.
