Enough is enough, any level of trolling in ranked needs to be made zero tolerance.

I just had a Diamond+ ranked game. Around half way through the game, our Tristana got pissed at our Garen and started intentionally feeding, but not blatantly.

In general, she would not group with us or push objectives. We realized she was doing this, and started grouping and following her, at which point she would just recall and go to another lane.

At one point, I was in the enemy base with her and two inhibitors down, and could have ended the game; she immediately jumped into their fountain, died, and said 'lol thought i could kill rengar.'

At the end of the game, she said that 'we deserve the loss,' leaving no doubt that she was intentionally feeding.

This behavior needs to be made zero tolerance. It's absurd that anyone should be losing LP to this, especially at high rating, and it should not happen as often as it does.

Intentionally feeding is zero tolerance. It's just something the system has a bit of trouble catching sometimes. Once it has confirmed it, it's a 14-day ban on the first offence.

Difficult to accurately confirm =/= not zero tolerance.

Then the system needs to be better, because this behavior is very consistently encountered in Diamond (especially Diamond V), and has been for multiple seasons. It doesn't have 'a bit' of trouble, it's completely useless and doesn't catch anything unless it's 20 minutes of repeatedly running down mid lane. It's totally unacceptable.

Well if you can make a system that can catch them that quickly by all means make the codes and give it to Riot, Im sure they will pay you good money for that. If not, then its obviously isnt a simple task. Remember Riot wants to make it possible so that false positive are rare, the last thing they need is to have innocent people ban.

You missed the point. Simply demanding that "the system needs to be better" without having any idea how to accomplish that is nothing more than entitled whining. It's absolutely pointless and in my personal opinion extremely immature.

You are right. That is why the consumer should speak with their money as well. Don't pay companies that are doing a poor job.

But that's just more of the same problem. If the demands of the customer simply do not match the actual feasibility then voting with your wallet still won't change anything. If people decided to boycott Riot until they solve the Riemann Hypothesis, they still won't actually solve it.

I mean, don't get me wrong. If your enjoyment of the game is hindered by the trolls, and the game as a result has less value to you, then it's absolutely understandable that you will give less (or no) money to it. But just because you give Riot less money doesn't necessarily make it a better idea for them to invest ressources in the thing you want.

There's only a very limited amount of problems that can be solved by throwing money at them.

You know why the code isn't better? It is because too many people report trolling/int feeding when somebody was actually just having a bad game. Because of all those false reports, the legitimate reports suffer.
