So I just got reported for "giving up"

I called myself/rammus a useless tank in chat because I was playing bad (and I feel like tanks just lose to assassins in this meta). And even though the enemy Kayn was harassing me all game (making fun of me for losing my buffs to him, not ganking early enough, etc). We ended up surrendering very early, but apparently they felt the need to report me for "giving up". I reported the Kayn for harassment, but please tell me. Did I truly deserve a report for this game?

If you constantly commented on your teammates' negative performance, and/or constantly pushed for a ff or to help the enemy win faster, then yes, you could've been reported for giving up and having a negative attitude.

Tanks lose to Assassins? What? Maybe you lose to Kayn if he goes Darkin mode, but then he is not an Assassin. lul

Shadow Assasin would need a huge item advantage to beat Rammus.

By definition, if you vote yes to an ff vote, you are giving up.

IMO, It's pretty hypocritical of riot to introduce a surrender mechanic and also make giving up a punishable offense. But hey, I don't make the rules. I just follow em.
