It's only a minor inconvenience. It hasn't stopped me from calling feeding pieces of shit who intentionally ruin the game just that. Chat restriction is not a solution. Punishing those who go out of their way to ruin a game for nine other people just might though. This automated bullshit so that player moderation can fellate themselves is disgusting and only a fascist bootlicker would even pretend it's a reasonable solution.

Of course not. 100% of toxicity, every last bit of it, is easily countered with the mute button. My point was address the cause of toxicity. I've never raged at someone who didn't deserve it.

No, but retaliation is at least understandable. Intentionally trolling isn't. Frustration that the punishment for it is worse than what spawns is a running gag on boards, isn't it? The only effective report is offensive language.
