As someone who is chronically chat restricted:

It's only a minor inconvenience. It hasn't stopped me from calling feeding pieces of shit who intentionally ruin the game just that. Chat restriction is not a solution. Punishing those who go out of their way to ruin a game for nine other people just might though. This automated bullshit so that player moderation can fellate themselves is disgusting and only a fascist bootlicker would even pretend it's a reasonable solution.
