Random Question on Chat Ban

Hello, this is a rather old occurrence but I have been wondering for a long time and just remembered to throw it out but my lack of details will probably make it pointless. So I was playing on an alternate account because I wanted to try to one trick pony Shaco (irrelevant) anyways, after only 2 normals matches where I did not speak a single word; in fact I couldnt because I was on LAN for ping purposes and I dont speak spanish. So after only 2 games i received a 10 game chat restriction when i didnt speak a word. Did I do something else wrong maybe or has this happened to anyone else? Not upset or saying it was unjustified (although idk how it was) I dont even use the account anymore, just thought Id ask
