that way if someone wants to have a serious discussion. they can delete derailing or snarky comments without having to rely on a mod to take thier report seriously or if someone doesnt want a particular person commenting regardless of what theyre saying. they can.

The boards are a place for discussion, and this wouldn't be conducive to that in the slightest. I already know of people that simply delete and repost the entire thread every time it doesn't immediately get upvotes and 100% agreement.

in my opinion. this wouldnt be a bad thing either. and is better than being forced to deal with people who troll the boards but doing it without "breaking the rules" example. someone making a thread about flamebaiting being an issue. people immediately derail the thread by posting " dont take the bait" or "haha you got banned" comments

the only person able to delete comments would be the origianal poster. and a "why did i get banned" would likely be the OP anyway.

scazzman1 votesi feel like riot both on the boards needs to either A. be more aggressive in dealing with players both in game and on the boards who are doing things just to annoy and be obnoxious "AKA trolls." but in a way that is avoiding punishment such as being sarcastic and passive aggressive but not directly insulting. or throwing games without directly feeding. or B. give players better tools to deal with them. without having to rely on the report button. and "it might get abused" isnt a reason not to try. you don't take guns away from the entire population because people want to be criminals
