Riot, you HAVE to do something about player behavior

I have been playing League for about 5 years now and the trolling and toxicity is at an all time high. I see reportable offenses in at least 75% of games now. I just had a game where there was a duo bot lane who first off banned my selected champion intentionally, even though I had first pick in the game. Then they started in on the most toxic crap towards me for calling them out on it. It continued thru champion select and during the entire game.

The sad thing is that I'm 100% sure that NOTHING will be done about it even though I reported them. It's also sad that I had a similar experience the day before. Three out of four games you play now have either someone trolling, someone extremely toxic, someone racist, someone intentionally feeding, or people who intentionally ban the champion you would like to play.

Please oh please bring back the Tribunal and actually look at the chat logs of games where people are reported. I guarantee you would be able to perma ban about 90% of the cancer players in the game if you just did that.

There are a lot of great players out there but they are now getting outnumbered by the bad ones.

I played 4 games with my nephew yesterday and 4 out of 4 were trolled games. The one we won was because the troll was on their team instead of ours that time. In season 3 I started tracking the worst of the trolls I'd encountered (about 50) and found after a year none of them had been punished (no lapses in game play and you could tell they trolled constantly), BUT I got a two week suspension and my season rewards taken away because I said "report this troll"...

Riot doesn't ban trolls they ban the people who point out that there are trolls in their game and because of this the game is saturated with trolls/pricks/afks. Though I have noticed their are less afks now that they put the time punishments in place. Now maybe I don't have to drop ranks from having 3 games in a row with 4 AFKs after I get promoted to drop back down 6 times... yea. Not kidding or exaggerating.

I'd hoped riot had Finally started doing something about the trolls and toxicity in game but it still seems like you are Much more likely to get punished for being trolled than trolling. Wonder if they will ever figure out how much they have screwed themselves by doing this.

should see OCE bro. lasty 7 games ina row had bot lanes running down mid dying got demoted because of it. they seriously need to start IP banning

Short of mind control Riot can do nothing to control the behavior of people.

They can only punish after the fact.

How come you are the only person who can tell that the people you reported didn't get punished?

Only if your report was the one that actually triggered the punishment. Just because you don't get a pop up doesn't mean they weren't punished.
