The mute button is not an excuse to be a verbally abusive jerk. Never has been, never will be.

What's the point of having a language filter if I can get banned for 'adult' language? We aren't out to punish players who use adult language; in fact, very few players are ever banned for saying stuff like "f***, I missed that skill shot" or "damn, fing close game!" However, the language filter is not an excuse to verbally abuse someone in the game. When you verbally abuse or harass someone by calling them "fing *****" or "ngger noob", that's when you've crossed the line and will be punished by the Tribunal. I've said this before and I'll say it again, we aren't trying to clean online games of adult language; we're trying to reform or get rid of jerks who like to verbally abuse and harass other players.
Why is verbal abuse punishable if there is a mute button/language filter? Players shouldn’t need to rely on features like the mute button or language filter to engage with other players in positive ways. When a player verbally abuses another player and forces him to use the mute button, they have already created a negative experience for that player.
You can sit there and keep saying this, like Michael out there blathering on about his tinfoil hat conspiracy, but in the end, people will still get banned for being toxic assholes OR feeders and League will be a better place for it.
People post the rules so the next new player reading can learn how Not to be punished :) Not so hard to understand ;)

Humm why shouldn't Riot ban people for being Toxic ? Mute button is not the I can say anything I want button ! It is there so people can stop listening to toxic people and not a reason to be Toxic..
It has been said many times why you Should Report this and Why it is punished,,,thanks for the daily reminder though...gives people a chance to inform new players just why they should not be Rude.

You don't have to see everything that happened in the game. You are judged on the merits of your own behavior, not everyone else's. Their actions can make your reactions understandable, but that doesn't make them acceptable.
That chat log is absolutely ban-worthy, and also almost certainly not the only game that led up to your ban.

I understand what you guys are saying. I just disagree, toxicity is not the issue, and I don't think it ever will be. The issue is people who take their team hostage with intentional poor play and refusal to work together. I would much rather have someone rage uncontrollably and me just mute them than deal with someone who types nothing but compliments and intentionally loses games

Obviously from the down votes. I'm in the minority. I guess I just sympathize with people who lost rewards for toxic bans especially ones with chat logs taken out of context.
League community alone is pretty damn hilarious, you have to go out of your way not to offend anyone or a report button is pressed. Its like a rampant case of sand in the vagina.

Here you go ... i am not scared. The problem of postng a reform card is clearly you dont see all the text or even the events that happen in the game.
chat bans, which i really dont care. After the changes for this preseason I really could care less but I am finding its more rewarding to point how fail this company is getting more and more. Trolling is actually way more fun and watching people rage is highly entertaining, least my videos are getting more upvotes :)
