So I wasn't exactly being toxic, I remember the game going like this:

I was Eve, didn't want to gank but my team was spam pinging me. Shaco was talking shit in global chat, so I responded with: "Idk why an early game eve would attack an early game Shaco %%%%%." My bot lane got stomped on and fed about 15 kills, they blamed it on me because I couldn't gank for them while being 2 levels down. (Eve)

I ended up muting them, and just playing some more games without even thinking of this being a problem. (Let's be real here, even the boondocks makes fun of people like this.)

So my feedback to this ban: Honestly, I fucking laughed. Like, I couldn't keep the snickering down in my public discord. This is a bot mistake, right? I know that the word %%%%% is a hot spot for bots, just seems like a duo took advantage of the way that the bot responds to reports and I got nipped. That's pretty much my only explanation, because I don't think any human being could be responsible for this.

What about your pre-game chat? And the fact that this is a trend for you in almost all of your game, pre-game lobbies and post-game lobbies.

Pre-game: How many %%%%%%s does it take to make a %%%%%%, have a %%%%%%? But you need to have a %%%%%% to make the other 2 %%%%%%s have a %%%%%% But you need to have another one to make sure that the %%%%%% doesn't steal the other 2 %%%%%%s baby for rans I'm an expert on %%%%%%s

So yeah, any kind of racial slur (including those that are "lessened" by attempting to remove things such as the "hard r" or "hard t") is unacceptable in League. Those terms are highly offensive and the vast majority of the League community, as well as the plurality of the general population, considers them to be unacceptable in virtually all contexts. Of those contexts where it is acceptable to use such language, none of them include anything in a video game.

TLDR: Racial slurs are never acceptable in League. For any reason.

Grown ups use the word slut and whore pretty often if you ever take a step in a work place with blue collars, try it out sometime. If you can't allow your player base to use BASIC LANGUAGE to commence banter other than: "Lol gg u did a really good play dude, but your breath smells very negatively." then there is no point in wasting time even trying to participate with the community.

I am a young adult (younger than 24) and even in my age group people don't use that language. I work in a career job that would be considered "blue collar".

Racial slurs, or sexist slurs like the ones you just referenced, are not "basic language". It is, in fact, a sign of immaturity when someone must attack unalterable features of another person simply because they cannot find a better way to express their opinions.

I didn't attack, I was being playful.

When in a blue collar environment people make playful jokes like these all of the time, the difference is that I'm not straight up calling somebody out for having black skin - I'm literally just playing for kicks and jokes, as you can see for the dialog until bottom lane started harassing the shit out of me.

Guess what though - I wasn't toxic. You know what I did? Muted, moved onto the next game. I deserve a fucking COOKIE. So don't make this about an opinion or anything political like that, you know damn well that this has nothing to do with that.

In almost every game i know of, racial commentaries in public chat areas (in game, and lobbies.... club chats and private chats are different. Unless there is harrassment then you should just remove them and block them.) Are unacceptable and lead to mutes or bans. Real life, theres this thing called "Human Resources" as well as you could end up burning more bridges by not acting professional.

In your group they may cuss a lot. That does not mean in any way that it is smiled upon and appriciated.

There are appropriate places for such language though. Among people you know it is one thing, but in a public place with people you don't know... nah dude. Just don't use racial slurs.

Actually I noticed that just now. Unfortunately I don't even see the game that this is from, it isn't even in my match history as far as I can see. And OPGG is not working properly for me. In the last 20 games I've really only played 2 Eve games, a little confused now.

Ah, yeah - it looks like that is the one. I just remember that me and bottom lane were joking in lobby about the word %%%%%. Maybe I was mixing up the memories, because honestly I remember playing with this group being very pleasant and nice actually. Like the bottom lane actually got my humor.

But yeah, I just now logged on and got the message :P not sure what's up with that.

Man my wife would have a field day with you. And not in a good way either. Lemme ask ya man, are you black? If not, did you have a black friend who gave you a pass? Even if they did, that doesn't mean you can just run around saying it. In a game setting, no matter how mature, no company will accept racial slurs being thrown around at strangers.

In a work environment, you aren't going to run around using that word least you find yourself in the fast lane to unemployment.

You can't just go saying things like that because you want to, that isn't how the world works. I'm a white guy, 30 years old, with a black wife. You gain an interesting perspective on life married to someone of another race.

Let me see if I can say it like she did. That particular word, was used as a form of oppression during the slave period. It was used to demean and bring down the spirit of our dark skinned brothers and sisters. Their use of it now, is their way of taking it as their own. For another race to use it, is equivalent of making it appear as if they (black people) are still worth as much as they were back then.

Again, can't remember everything correctly about what she said, but the point remains is that it isn't okay to be throwing it around, especially so if your reasoning is that the game is boring and it is your way of making it exciting.

You aren't making the game exciting... You're just being a racist ass.

Keep being a baby and whining about your teams then. The choice is yours. Permaban or play the game like a man who doesn't bitch and moan about everything that doesn't go his way. Up to you. Some people love complaining and there's nothing really inherently wrong with that. It's just unfortunate for you that it's against the rules in this game. If its just social shit that you need, i recommend being social then. Get off your computer if you yearn for social interaction.

Freedom of speech is about protection from the government. Please don't throw that term around like it means you're immune to any backlash for the things you say. I do encourage you to learn about it though, as well as all of our rights, because they are constantly under attack and it's important to understand and defend them.

Lol I don't think you should use the boondocks as a reference. You say "even" boondocks made fun of it, as if the boondocks is a fucking kid show. It's adult humor, made for adults. (Well, probably targets teens too, but hell, I was watching porn as a teen, and that's obviously not supposed to be targeted at teens) what I'm saying is, it's an edgy show. In game, under Riots rules, I don't know why you would think being edgy is safe. Maybe you should play a grown up game like you said, or you know, not play games at all if you're so grown up.

You really gotta learn to determine what is appropriate to say in what environments. That hood shit isn't popular everywhere. It may be in your environment, but when you step out of your environment (i.e. into Riot PC land) you have to adjust.

Anyways, now you know. All you gotta do is not use that one term (I'm sure you know the other terms you can't use, but you don't seem to be about using hate speech, you just love that ghetto talk). Just think of it as a learning experience and come back exactly the same, minus one word. If you're too bitter over this, I would totally understand. I've been banned on these forums for some real stupid shit, and it's hard not to be bitter. But it's just a forum, idc. If it was in game bans, then I'd be pissed.
