It's the end of the season, and ranked is full of players intentionally losing. This is not okay.

I've been playing since season 1, and this exact same bullshit happens at the end of every single season.

Players who know they can't reach the next highest border stop caring. You end up with Diamond players using troll picks like AD Veigar. If they get mad at someone who is close to the next border for any reason, they'll often try to intentionally lose the game. This can be something as small as not giving them a buff.

I just had one player who was intentionally losing games to de-rank. This also happens every season, as many players no longer care about the game and just want to screw with others, or want a silver border for laughing reasons.

He played it off as if he were high, but his match history is all losses (like 30% win rate) and he was Diamond last season. When someone called him out on it, he responded ';) naw'. To everyone in the game, he was very obviously intentionally feeding. He would randomly basically just right click Akali and not use any abilities, while other times he would actually play seriously. From experience, this will get passed off as a 'bad game,' or it will take weeks of him fucking over his team mates until the system catches him.

Something needs to be done about these players, and the people they're fucking at the end of the season need to be compensated once they're finally banned (which, from watching some of these players, often takes a month or more, if anything happens to them at all).

This shit has turned ranked into a massive joke. The way this behavior is dealt with, as well as how long it takes to actually do anything about these players, needs to be improved.
