Just curious. When somebody makes an innocence thread, and they clearly deserve every second of the ban, how much do you enjoy going "get rekt, kid"?

The word has connotations, but it most accurately describes them. They are jackbooted fascists who would sooner yank your leash than reason with you.

Blatant authoritarianism and loyalty only to their own. Every mod on here toes the party line as they crush all crush all dissent and suppress any meaningful conversation. Why do you think politics is a banned subject in General Discussion?

You ask more questions than you provide answers. Be more specific, give evidence, if you want your argument to be taken at all seriously.

Also, politics is a banned discussion because of how sensitive and heated a topic it can be.

Make a thread calling one out for their oppression and overzealous abuse of power. It'll be deleted and you'll be banned before you know it. Despite their claims for more "transparency" -- a bullshit buzzword used by all fascists to console their ignorant constituents-- the easiest way to summon forth reds is to make a thread about one, doesn't even have to be them specifically. You may not remember the old forums, but that was literally a running joke.
Me? I have no problem with dissent, I openly encourage it. Dissent is the purest form of patriotism. Riot though? Might as well be bots banning on keywords alone. They have no bearing for context. I reckon simile, metaphor, and analogy simply go over their heads.
Read your last sentence and ask this question again. They suppress meaningful conversation because it may "offend" someone, as if this is a PG forum and not full of toxic scum. How is active censorship-- literally choosing what can and cannot be said (but especially if critical of the regime)-- NOT authoritarian?

Strict conformance to rules doesn't seem like a bad thing to me. Can you elaborate on this? Does "Boards version of authority" simply refer to the rules they've put in place?
I'm actually intruiged to test this point, but I don't know what you think qualifies as abuse of power. Go deeper :)
Neither do I, dissent is good, but only to the point where it remains constructive. Go read the main page- a lot if it is clearly people displeased with SOMETHING, and they've been made visible. If Riot deletes a thread, they don't believe it's constructive.
Reread my question, and you still didn't answer properly. You answered WHY. I asked for an example.

tl;dr Go deeper, friend. I want examples, I want specifics. I'll do the same, if that's what you want to do, but I don't have the time tonight to go hunting for that.

Also, I am indeed using my attempt at the Socratic method. It's also true that I don't understand you, and it intruiges me as a statistics person to meet someone I don't understand. So please, work with me, help me understand you. I really do want to have this conversation with you.

No, these are text book definitions. Doesn't matter what I think. They have a job, a code to guide them, and the ability to stretch that code due its inherent vagueness to suit their purposes. Abuse.
Again, it's not about belief. It's about duty, and the inability to remain objective.
Politics is a perfectly valid anecdote and why is a fine answer to how you phrased the question, again, not that it matters what I think.

Actually, I've had a few posts removed (mostly due to incorrect placement). It has happened to me, but I get that they have to enforce the rules they've laid down.
Okay, that's more specific. I don't think they stretch the "code" to their purposes. I think that they just have a lot of power in the first place. The TOS states the game and accounts are property of Riot, so they have power over them as such- again, A LOT. Whether or not you belive they abuse it is up to you, but know that they may have quite a bit more power than you think.
When you say inability to remain objective, do you mean the playerbase, or Riot, or both?
You're right, actually, the wording did allow for that. What I was trying to ask was,"Has a post that you've seen been removed purely out of the intent to crush meaningful conversation?

Well when people come to the threads, complain to the rest of us, and lie/don't give the chat logs and act like they are innocent, i'd Smite them too and put them in their place.

I see so many people come here to get sympathy from the community when they did everything to deserve the ban and lied/didnt give all the chat logs from the game.
