Why is this community so fucking toxic? I go out of my way, especially when smurfing, to try and help players, but get told to "fuck off bronze 5 %%%" every time. Of course, it's not in the same dialect, but it's in the same category of bashing me for being constructive. If it's not me being targeted, it's my teammates, or players on the other team.

Like, can we please drop the "My dick is super big and flaming will get me pussy" act? It's really annoying and is just so boring to read.

You're right. Flamming is toxic behaviour but smurfing isn't.

People rarely take advice well from strangers, even if it's meant well. All they see is someone playing in the same game and (theoretically) at the same level trying to boss them around.

Nobody takes that well. The smart ones just mute before they get seriously annoyed, the rest think they need to "defend" themselves from what they perceive as an attack.

If you see something you think could be done differently, ask if they want any advice. if they say yes, go ahead and give them some pointers. If they don't respond or say no, then leave them alone. Pressuring them with unwanted advice will just make the game unpleasant for everyone.
