Rito, can you PLEASE make it an automatic suspension if anyone bans the champion you have hovered to pick? I have had this happen FOUR times in the last week alone. Every time it has been intentional as well. This happens even though I have said nothing in the chat.
If the enemy team bans, that's fine, they didn't know who you were going to pick. Having your own teammates troll you completely ruins the game.

Lugg1 votesI understand wanting to ban new champs. However, there are people who do get to put in a lot of games on them on the PBE and Norms before they take them ranked. Not to mention the work you can do in practice mode now.
If they take a new champ and feed like a buffet, just report them.

Lugg1 votesIf someone feeds that hard, it's always intentional. If you are behind, you don't fight, period. When you are 0/3 against a 3/0 and continue to try and fight them, you are intentionally feeding at that point. All you have to do is just stay barely within XP range until you can get ganks or items.

Second, if you are afraid of facing that champ, at least talk to the team about someone being able to first pick them before you just ban them outright. I own every champ in the game and I gladly pick champs for people on my team because I like to win games.
Third, I just wanted to throw in that this happens in NORMALS. There is zero excuse for banning someone's champ in Norms, ever.
Chermorg1 votesYou don't get to dictate other people's game for them. If they don't want a xayah in their game, they can ban xayah. I don't care who wants to play it. The ban mechanic is seen as taking priority over the pick mechanic - there's always going to be a loser. However, considering Riot expects people not to be one-trick ponies, Riot considers the player's right to ban who they want more important than you getting your first pick of champ.

Chermorg1 votesRiot does not support one tricks. They force you to purchase a certain number of champions to play draft, and you're expected not to be a one trick if you're playing draft.
Lugg1 votesThe only reason you have to purchase X number of champs is to have champs if yours is banned or to fill other positions. That's literally it. Probably the best non-pro player in NA is a one trick. In fact the upper ELO is mostly one tricks who just have played long enough to get good with a few champs.
So don't tell me Riot doesn't support OTPs.

Riot caters heavily to Korea and Korea has more one tricks than any region. Just man up and admit you're wrong on this one.

If i come into a game, i go check the op.gg of all my teammates. If i see a Yasuo otp with 200 games and 45% winrate on it, having 3/8/4 average kda, i ban that champ, not even doublechecking if he is going to pick yasuo or not.
Or if i see someone hovering Singed adc.
And acting like that is perfectly okay.

Lugg1 votesChamps come into and out of FOTM. The number of bans is pretty spread right now, so you have a decent chance getting anything right now. Unless of course some dick teammate bans it intentionally, which is the entire point of the thread.

If I hover a highly contested pick and I am last pick, I would understand my team banning it.
