new punishment system idea.

perhaps riot should start "fining" players who get punished. get rid of the chat restrictions/14 day ban

instead

  • 1st tier. 5$ fine.

  • 2nd tier. 20$ fine

  • 3rd tier. 50$ fine

tier 4 is still a permaban

HOW IT WORKS. the player who gets "fined" is indefinitely banned until the fine is paid "similar to a chargeback ban"

the escalation system would still work the same, however the fines get players used to the idea of losing real money to their negativity, plus imo. a chat restriction isnt a punishment. its all the retroactive bullshit that comes with it. otherwise people literally wouldnt care about being chat banned. but if you had to pay 5 bucks in order to get your account back. people would think twice about becoming toxic

Wouldn't happen. That'd give riot incentive to increase bans because they'd be tied to profit.

what they could do in that situation. money collected from fines would be donated to charity

meanwhile rito would get sued over every ban cause ppl can afford a lawyer and the game closes down soon after.
