PSA: When you say "You banned my champion! I can only play this, your fault we lose!"...

...then consider a few things my friend:

  1. No, the reason we lose, is because you are a pathetic one trick pony, who probably doesn't even main the champ, but abuses a current FotM. This marks you as an incredibly bad player, who needs the game to give him an advantage to be able to actually play in the first place

  2. You are absolutely reported, for negativity, giving up early and harassment ("your fault we lose"), so its a valid one. Enjoy your punishment.

  3. No one, and I mean not a solitary human being in this game, wants you in his team. The only reason anyone plays with you, is because an algorithm forces us to. If we had a say, you would never get a game going in a lifetime. Think about that the next time you look into a mirror.

But don't worry, I love having guys like you on the other team. Makes winning so EZ.

I really don't understand why people have so many issues with OTP's. Most people above gold played one champion and one champion only in order to get there because when you OTP a champion you gain a certain level of mastery over that champion, their power spikes, weaknesses, and strengths that you can only get by OTPing them. OTPing is the number one recommended way of climbing and most higher elo players would advise not to start playing too many other things until you've climbed up to a certain point.

I personally like getting OTP's on my team so long their champion doesn't get banned because then I know that they at the very least know how to play their champion far better than someone who only plays that champion on occasion or if it fits the team comp.

On another note, you shouldn't be banning the champions your allies want to play if they show intent to play it. It's bad team work and if that's their main then you should EXPECT them to get salty over it, it's a perfectly logical and appropriate response to such a dick move. The only exception to this is if it's a popular champion and they are last pick at which point you are better off offering to pick it for them so the enemy can't get it. Team work goes both ways, you get back what you give out. If you won't be considerate to your allies then what right have you expecting them to be considerate to you?

If you purposefully ban your teammate's pick intent? You have a higher-than-average share of responsibility in the case that you do lose. Of course, that person can also be negative attitude report worthy. The two are separate.

Of course, you didn't say that the person used pick intent. I've definitely seen people that didn't use pick intent or chat rage when I ban their champ, which is pretty funny.

I hope you learn self-respect and empathy sooner rather than later. You'll be happier for it!
