@Riot Tantram Clear case of trolling is not getting banned by Riot Support. I guess its allowed.
Ranked game. Guy is assigned Jungle. Declares he is going to play support non the less. Our team refuses to swap but he does not care and picks soraka. In game, we end up having no jungler and 3 people bot, one adc and 2 supports. The guy never took a single jungle camp, never made a single gank (as if he could with soraka.. xd), and basically built and played like a typical support by supporting our adc and staying bottom lane entire game.
Now then, according to Riot, its a case of pure trolling/greifing and its punished instantly with account suspension, just as intentionally feeding. This case differs from intentional feeding cases, as in those cases, many of them are not 100% clear if they do it on purpose or if they are having a bad game. However in this case the negative behavior is crystal clear 100% of the times, you dont even have to see the game replay, yet the player support agents refuse to punish it.
The guy is still out there playing games. Also, it happens that he is Challenger 740 LP. Maybe they think he does not deserve it because his rank and because he still, despite his trolling, played to win the game (and we did win). However, thats totally irrelevant.
In the ticket i sent regarding this, the player support agent replied to me with the typical : "I'm sorry you had such a bad experience. I will look into it. Keep in mind that I can't share any actions taken against other players for privacy reasons."
In the end, i can only conclude that as long as you play to win, you can refuse your assigned role, and no matter what your team says (agreeing or not), you can go and play whatever role and lane you want in the game. Whether that means you are going duo top, duo mid, duo jungle, duo bottom/adc with a support, or duo support with an adc.
