When a player receives report(s) from ONLY his opponents, IFS should ONLY focus at his ALL-Chat.

it seems pretty easy to implement this change on the IFS. so why not ? one less innocent player being punished.

pretty much, if your opponents report you for your chatlogs (and none of your teammates), you should be judged based only on your all-chat, and not your team-chat.

Just as someone who spams racial slurs and insults in a game, does not get checked/punished by the IFS if he does not get reported in that game(*), in the same way, someone who does not get reported by his teammates, should also not be checked/punished by the IFS based on his team-chat, in case he got reported by his opponents for whatever reason, and should instead be checked/punished only upon his all-chat.

Agreed. If someone was playing with a 5x premade who was ok with what your were saying you shouldn't be punished because of a random report from the other side.

I mean whats the harm in checking both? Might as well suss if there's any toxicity going on to allies in chat. Not checking just adds protection to toxic players who manage to queue with people who don't care enough to report, or don't read chat, or didn't report for any number of reasons.

Easiest solution, just don't be toxic anywhere and it doesn't matter if you get reported.

"Guess what? Ima feed the enemy team goodluck proving it."

Team stays silent.

Enemy team obviously recognizes feeding.

Report, oops! Admission isnt counted!

While it is true that I won't see the enemy team's chat, I can get a good idea from what they're saying in all chat what they're also saying in their team chat. It's a few things that essentially amount to "okay, Zed said (x), and I know that most people that say (x) are being toxic in their own chat. Ergo, it's a safe bet to report him, because I'm fairly certain he's being toxic anyways".

Usually I'm right about that. Not always, sure, but usually.

That's like saying that if you get pulled over by a cop for running a red light, he should totally ignore the bottle of vodka in your hand, the 3Kg of cocaine on your back seat and the dead body in your trunk. Seems legit.

This is actually how i got banned :/ so I would like this too, but its very hard to implement and hard to keep track of. Also Riot has a zero Tolerance policy about some words, meaning they dont care for context.

I had a chat with a rioter who told me that if you are talking with a friend in private chat it still doesnt make you safe, they told me that the best way to be unbanned and unpunished is to just not say the zero tolerance words. Plus, you shouldnt even have a reason to use them in the first place, but non my buisness

I disagree as sometimes there are things the enemy does that are reportable but aren't in allchat.

You have proof that report = review.

You don't have proof of what gets reviewed.

I personally think you are most likely correct though.

Judging by how Riot refuses to give honor to opponents, I think the system is working as intended in Riots eyes. We aren't allowed to honor opponents because "we can't see the opponents team chat". It seems Riot is well aware of opponent team chat.
