i swear. so many games are thrown not due to trolls or lack of skill. but just general bullheadedness and uncooperativity. its hard to win a game when every play call. ping or request to group mid is met with a "stop talking" or "stfu" regardless of whether it was the right call or not.

Deep Terror Nami1 votesThat's low elo for you. You can't really expect many players there to have the coordination and decision making of a Plat, because they wouldn't be there for long. Set your expectations accordingly.
I believe it was said by the esteemed Sir David Turley, "It's better for everyone to follow a bad call than nobody follow a good one". If they aren't following what you think is a good call, it may be better to back them up on their bad call instead. Following through alone with "good" calls meant for 2-5 people will lose you the game.
