PSA. nosurrender trolling is toxic

its one thing to think you can still win, or just not wanting to ff, in general

however there are people who will deliberately vote no on surrenders for the sole purpose of preventing people from leaving after a game has already been thrown beyond recovery, or in an attempt to keep a particular player in chat so they get themselves banned. these players have no intent of actually trying to win, in fact, its not uncommon to see a nosurrender troll intentionally feed if they see their team showing signs of a comeback. their goal is to drag out the match as long as possible while making sure it ends in a loss.

if you see people engaging in this behavior, REPORT THEM, currently , the IFS cannot detect this sort of behavior, but if people start reporting for it. it will eventually be able to catch it, report under "negative attitude" and leave in the comments box "maliciously stalling the game"

do not report people if you think they're actually trying to win. but if it looks like they're just stalling. report. this is one of the most toxic behaviors in league, yet currently it is undetectable by the system because people don't understand that they're trolling

i agree. people who dont ff should be banned more than flamers. i always report them. cancer scrubs wasting my time.

Sorry. But surrendering is bad strategy. 100% of surrendered hopeless looking games are lost. Less than 100% of hopeless looking games that are not surrendered are lost. The simple reality is if you're grieving and tilted, a game might look hopeless to you that isn't. Hence the better option is not to surrender.

20% of games you will always win 20% of games you will always lose 60% of games are up to the players

  • Of these 50% are up to you
  • Other 50% are up to teammates If I think we can still win, IE not one of the 20% you will always lose 0/10 down, 100cs every lane, everyone has seen these games, I will not surrender because there has been way too many games that I have won after being down 20 kills, 4v5, etc. All the while my teammates were spamming the surrender button the whole time. I think if someone tries to surrender more than 4 times and it still has not gone through then that player can not throw up a surrender vote again.

So if you initiate a surrender vote and it comes out to 3/2, who would you know to report for trolling?

Yea this never give up never surrender mentality in NA is really starting to piss me off. We should be able to vote surrender at 10 mins for God's sake, I don't care about my 10% chance of winning

Look at youtube "when should you surrender". also, even if you want to surrender and can't it doesn't mean that "he is a troll"/this game is lost.
