Bring back "Unskilled player" report option...

...but have absolutely no weight added to it.

Just make it a box that someone can click in the report if they get upset that someone on their team isn't doing well. It won't be sent as a report, it won't even show up to anyone, it will just be there for eye candy.

Then, crack down on toxic behavior towards those who flame people who are doing poorly, and refer them to that report button.

When it was still a report category, if I was ever mad at someone for doing poorly, I often times just told them "reporting you for unskilled". Still wrong, but I was new and didn't understand yet. Clicking the "unskilled player" box made me feel a lot better than I would have if I had just flamed them. I think and hope that it's the same way for everyone else.

Should this be implemented? Tell me what you guys think.

That's exactly what the option was there for - it was a dumping ground for reports that went into the bit bucket. Being unskilled has at no point in the history of this game been a reason to have anything done to your account.

I can only speculate, but I think Riot got rid of it when the ability to report the same player for multiple things came up. It probably led to lots of bogus reports.

If someone is so pissed of that someone on their team is having a bad game, then let them flame and rage all they want. TBH they will look at the entire chat. So, if Tribunal finds him flaming and harassing they could ban the person that wanted to report. If youre a smart enough player, you should know not to rage or yell at team. If they are raging at you, mute them. That simple

It was just a placebo probably, but I agree...

I would rather have some way to know that the player is a novice, since most of the trolls use this as a cover for trolling.

Being 'nice' to every troll throwing your match it starting to wear thin

They should bring it back and actually have it do something.
