It happens every game. People zero in on me and start firing the death threats no matter what happens. It goes beyond blaming me for everything that went wrong (even if I'm not the one at fault); there's something about me that causes people to go from zero to a million in a matter of microseconds.

And the response isn't to just "report, mute and move on". This behavior is spiraling rapidly out of control, more than what Riot's justice system can handle. The report system doesn't even work properly anymore because people abuse it. To put this into perspective, I've never been punished ONCE in the four years that I've been playing this game, yet I've received more reports than most players ever will. And the people to blame is all of you out there who report everyone for everything.

Congratu-fucking-lations. You've killed League.

What is the reasoning behind these reports/threats? Personally, I'm enjoying a streak of good behavior from other players, for the most part.

Also, PROBABLY unrelated, but what's your logic for building Wit's End as Taric support? Seems very weak to me.

Put simply, laser-guided hatred. The past few games I had, bot lane went 0/12 before level 6, and I got blamed for not carrying and intentionally feeding even though I was top lane in both scenarios and didn't even have a single death to my name before the shit started getting slung. People get consumed very quickly by absolute, unimaginable hatred for me, no matter what happens.

And the reason why I build Wit's End on Taric (and Braum, and Nautilus, and Lulu, and Tahm Kench, and I'm curious about Bard) is to speed up the rate at which they can deliver the on-hit effects (very important for Braum, especially in today's climate where no one knows that they can add onto his stacks), and it's technically an MR tank item, and deals an additional 40 damage on basic attacks, AND drains what little MR the enemy actually has, since nobody ever gets any MR items.

I found out shortly after Taric's relaunch that his passive doubles his attack speed; getting a Wit's End boosts it to 2.00 flat (at least for me), and since he is the fighter support everyone has been begging for (even if he doesn't scale off of attack damage), he is able to support better the more he's able to whale on the enemy since Bravado reduces the duration on his cooldowns, meaning more healing, shielding and stunning, all the while laying some serious hurt on the enemy (without Sheen, roughly 150-200 damage by mid game due to Bravado and Wit's End's bonus magic damage on top of his attack damage).

In short, it reduces his cooldowns when he's in combat. People just don't get it because they are so blinded by meta stats and the idea that a tank not building eight Thornmails is an ADC troll.

I once actually carried a game as support Taric going 9/2/1x, and I still got death threats. And they're not always from my own team.

If you don't understand why getting 9 kills as support taric makes you the problem, then you can't be helped.
