Perm bans dont make any sense

Inb4 downvotes, inb4 people who dont read.

perm bans dont make sense, because they can just make a new account and riot would never know.

perhaps riot should invest in software that can detect a similar IP/wifi/PC and add a ban to the actual downloads website... IE: require a login to download the game but if their server detect youre trying to make a new account on the same IP/wifi/etc it blocks you from making the account :^)

(just a thought though? maybe it would work?)

And what if I share my PC with my brother and he wants to create a account?

They know. When I was being vetted to become a volunteer, they found my smurf that I hadn't played in years in less than a minute.

The perma Ban is the punishment and supposed to be a way to Tell Players to improve. They loose everything with the Ban so it makes sense. IP bans dont work cause multiple people can play from the Same ip

Go read the "Rito should reverse my permaban because I spent $XXXX on their game! I only got 3 warnings, I promise Ill reform!". I have seen people on these boards who think chat bans are just a normal thing everyone has gotten, it takes something extreme (permaban) to act as a wakeup call for them.

they cant do it. families/roomates often play from the same IP. also internet cafe's, college dorms, etc.

my IP changes every time i restart my router. and someone else with the same internet provider gets my old IP. if they did it by IP i could just restart my router every time i got banned and some random person in the city would be banned instead of me.
