How do you stop yourself from being toxic?
I could go into detail about what makes me toxic, but doesn't really matter. I need advice on counter-toxicity. Hallllp!

I practice self control.
Dont hit the enter key!
Practice makes perfect.
Communicate with pings not text if at all possible. It's all too easy to let your frustrations show through your writing even if you think you're being constructive, so just don't start there. Inciting annoyance from spamming pings is far less serious than chat toxicity provided you don't overdo it.
Learn to speak over typin :D Open discord or your choice of voice and just start talking, really just goto town and start describing every thing that is making you upset at something. Just keep spewing the aggression out the mouth and presto No more typign in chat :D
same issue, i hope they implement the "self mute button" thingy, I just can't control myself.
Mute everyone immediately.
Like, unless the team is overwhelming the enemies and everyone is doing everything perfectly, there is always a toxicity in games I'm in, even when I choose to say nothing at all. I think I'll try to be unnecessarily positive.
Break open a bottle of Alcohol and enjoy ,
A glass of scotch really makes the game more enjoyable
You have to learn what the real game is. Solo q isn't about winning as many matches as possible. It's about who can endure the most shit the longest and still continue to improve. It doesn't matter if you win or lose the game as long as you are continually improving. The game is actively trying to give you a 50% win rate. That means if you win too many games the game itself begins to actively try and make you lose. The only way to climb is to continually improve yourself as a player. You don't need to give anyone any pointers, it's just a waste of time. Instead you that small amount of time to reflect on your own gameplay. Even if your the best player in the game and are 27/0/19 there are still things you can prolly improve on. Basically what I'm saying is your always going to lose games because of teammates, that's part of the game. But you will never improve if your always trying to coach them instead of yourself.
I don't type anything into team chat
unless I'm BMing enemy
Honestly, it's difficult to not be toxic in a game that ignores toxicity yet punishes reaction to it.
