Riot didn't force you to be toxic; you made that decision yourself. Also, other people acting up doesn't give you the excuse to act up yourself. Again, it wasn't Riot who told you to be toxic, it was you and you alone. We can only control ourselves, and while having afkers and jerks on your team stinks, stooping to their level is not the way to go about handling it.

If you get banned it's because you chose to troll and be a jerk despite knowing full well that they would get you in trouble.
And ofcourse the trolls would never be banned because according to riot having a nunu who say "i am gonna troll for fun i dont care" and him having 7 games in the row with 0/20 score for riot is "bad games"
If you look in this forum as well as the old Player Behavior forum and Tribunal Ban Inquiries forums on the old boards you'll see a bunch of trolls complaining about their bans, so that argument is invalid as far as I'm concerned. Also, if you want to help a troll get punished then you need to make sure to report them when you see them. Don't rely on others to do it for you-do it yourself.
But hey riot win you destroy my MMR but i dont care about that the season would end even if my MMR is pathetic i would still end up plat or gold at the worst but this is one more proof that riot does NOTHING vs the trolls and when others finally snap they get banned
If you have proof other than your experiences then feel free to post them here. Otherwise, like I already said, a simple search of the forums will show you that trolls do indeed get banned, I mean why else would they come here to continue to rage at others and complain about their ban?

Riot has ways of tracking people's secondary accounts, so making the threat that you're gonna intentionally troll is you basically just telling Riot to ban your accounts here and now.

With this kind of attitude good riddance I'd say. I find it very hard to believe that your claim of not being banned yet is true, especially with your threat just now to intentionally troll just because you're mad that you're not getting your way.

The mute button is not a "get out of jail free" card and it never will be. When you force someone to mute you then you've already done something wrong. Also, you do have a counter against toxicity-don't be a jerk. There will always be trolls and jerks no matter what, and expecting that the game will be troll free is just foolhardy. As long as you're not being a troll or a jerk yourself then you never have to worry about being punished.

We get a fair number of posters with this attitude and we generally treat them the way we treat ragers in game: report (downvote) and move on. That's why you shouldn't take downvotes personally.
This forum exists so that volunteers can explain your ban and hopefully help you avoid future bans. Maybe if you gave us a chance we could help you.
People who report are simply being oversensitive. The mute button exists for a reason.

Players shouldnt need to rely on features like the mute button or language filter to engage with other players in positive ways. When a player verbally abuses another player and forces him to use the mute button, they have already created a negative experience for that player.
Simply put, Riot says no. You can scream and cry all you want, but it is their house and their rules.
With that out of the way, I think the topic deserves some further discussion. The theory is that, if people resolved to care less, then they would be happier. I often refer to this as Argument from Stoicism and I think it is a fairly weak philosophy because it places the burden on the person being expected to endure the behavior rather than the person exhibiting the behavior. You should be able to handle it is just a flimsy excuse for being a bully or a jerk. I have to be the bigger man so that you can do whatever you want? That hardly seems fair.
There is also the issue of how I spend my limited free time. Like most people, I am constantly required to make value judgments between the different forms of entertainment that are available to me and, let's be honest, we live in an age of nearly limitless entertainment options. If I'm having a bad day in League, I can just fire up Steam and play a whole bunch of games that don't require me to put up with someone's BS.
This is not an issue of weakness or thin-skin; it's a question of choosing activities that don't leave me feeling frustrated and angry. Too many of those experiences and I'll just find something else to do. Riot knows this.

I dont think that people should be punished for speech. Other things, like feeding, are much more disruptive.
Im not going to tell you that your opinion is wrong, but you should know that neither Riot nor the majority of the community agrees with you. This is evidenced by the fact that the community has always consistently punished verbal toxicity. There may be some minor disagreement over certain words and phrases, but the overwhelming consensus is that it isnt welcome here.
Also, you arent ever going to get a pass on X because Y is worse. Well still punish you all day for ANY toxicity. Get used to it.
