what if. something was added to where the person with the highest winrate on the team. is selected as "team captain" and they get a little icon above their name in game. and thier chat becomes bold. imo one of the main causes of toxicity is the "too many chiefs not enough indians" factor. and no one is able to discuss plays without at least 1 person ignoring them.
but then that person can be a troll? I don't think that having a designated captain would make sense, especially since they would also be playing a role, there isn't enough space for a player to come in and say "Hey, I am the leader. I have the highest wn8 here, I am the team leader" This should be something that comes with time, not to be designated. This is something an old friend taught me, shotcalling; it comes with gamesense
This used to informally happen back in earlier seasons where the first person on each team was the player with the highest MMR.
