How to avoid a player in matchup?

Is there a way to block or avoid playing/matching up with a player? I had a game where adc was toxic and kept on boasting how he had 20/3 in previous game. 10 mins into game he went full retard and toxic for dying.

Is there any way to mark that player to be not matched with me? ( even in opposing team)

I know this is far fetched idea, but if it can be incorporated in match making we'll be fun games. ( losing isn't bad, but players like them destroy all the fun)

Fraid not. Fortunately, your chances of encountering them again are very low, especially if you take a short break after the game in question so you don't queue up at the same time.

There is no way to block someone from being matched with you. However, unless you are extremely high or extremely low MMR and you wait a few minutes after the match it is unlikely you will be matched with them again.

The most effective strategy is to add the player to your blacklist (so that you never have to listen to their garbage again) and, as some other people have mentioned, wait a few minutes before queuing again (which drastically reduces the odds of encountering that player again).

You could even take the second part a step further. I know that it takes me half an hour or so to get off-tilt, so I'll pop over to a different game in the meantime, like my friend's minecraft server.
