It's hard to describe, but picture this. You're not doing so good on a champion and you FEEL that the champion your facing is in someway unbalanced. So you say "wow that champion is unbalanced" and someone on your team says "You're just braindead". By saying "you're just braindead" has nothing to do with what's being discussed and it bugs the hell out of me.
Another example would be like let's say you go 0/4 top lane(let's be honest we've all been there) and you say "wow this graves is camping me" and someone on the team will say "You suck" to me. So the topic brought up is graves camping and someone on the team will say "you suck" which has nothing to do with the topic and really it's just annoying and uncalled for.
Is this all starting to make sense?
It does, I know what you are talking about. The reason is like meta-problems in the community. Let me see if I can explain the situation.
Player 1 is the hypothetical "you" of your example. Player 2 is the opponent. Player 3 is the teammate.
League of Legends is a team game. 5 random people are picked and they tied together for that game, their individual decisions having an effect on each other for good or ill, sink of swim.
Or one guy decides to drag you all to the bottom.
Player 1 is not doing so well on their champion while Player 2 is doing fine on theirs.
But you're Player 3 and you are trying to do your best to win while the announcer (and probably the pings too) tell you that Player 1 is not doing so well. You keep playing, you look to focus up because this is going to be a rough one and then the announcer reminds you, again, that Player 1 is not doing very well.
And then he starts in allchat. Player 1 starts talking about how Player 2's champion is OP, and just like your last losses, it's all fault of those OP champions, right? Player 1 looks to be another tilted out guy, complaining about OP champions and dead set that it couldn't be that they had anything to do with it, it's the champion's fault, it's Riot's fault, it's just that Garen is too strong to beat.
And you, Player 3, have been given the sign that just like the last games, you are in for a very un-fun twenty minute loss.
We can understand that Player 3 can be irritated by this. He probably shouldn't call Player 1 "braindead", but we can understand why he feels that way. We can also understand that Player 1 should not create the situation by complaining in allchat about champions he is losing to, because it's not helpful and only serves to make him appears to his teammates like a stupid jerk who is going to feed and blame his teammates all game.
Same with the second example, it just makes him look like somebody who is NOT going to adjust his play around the jungle pressure that he knows is there so his teammates can do something, but is instead going to play poorly, blame the jungler and mid while feeding turning the enemy top laner into a monster that is going to 1v3 and win.
