Will you be punished for the message? Unlikely.

Will you be punished if you proceed to be toxic in the game even if you have told people to mute you? Yes without a doubt.

Just because you warn people you are a toxic person and that they should mute you to avoid it doesn't mean they have to mute you and it does not give you the right to proceed to be toxic in game regardless.

Instead of working on a way to avoid being punished by warning people you should be working on a way to try and become less toxic so people can have a fun pleasure filled game with you rather than a game filled with negativity and toxicity.

yes.

you are under the rules at all times while playing the game, you don't get a free pass just because you announce you're gonna break them in the lobby.

pretty much common sense, really.

I mean, yes you can still be punished for that Since you're still the problem in the game If you're harassing people its an issue that is on your end not everyone else who runs into you

Listen to the message yourself, does it not sound a little rude or threatening? The first half of the sentence is fine but the

"but i will use harsh language if i think you're screwing around or trolling. again. if you dont want to be cursed at."

Is not the best way to word it.

If another player decides to continue to view chat (it is their decision, after all), and you decide to harass them, that is still putting you at risk of punishment. Your message does not absolve you of any punishment that may come. Your warning does not free you from the responsibility of chatting respectfully.

In short: yes, you can still be punished, even with that warning.

well if they are anything like me, they will take a screenshot of that and then take subsequent screenshots in game if you distinguish yourself as promissed. then make a post about it on the boards because quite frankly it's not something you see every day

Yep, warning others about your impending toxicity, is not an excuse to be toxic :/
