Is it possible for me to get a permanent chat restriction?

I'd really like my chat to be permanently restricted (Especially if I could do so without forfitting all rewards please <3). It increases my win rate and makes games more enjoyable to play. I have a very high WPM and type things faster than I can think. I do not desire to be toxic to these people. I don't want to ruin games. I'd honestly love to see this become a feature where I can just check a box and reduce my maximum messages.

I'm not asking to be banned.

I'm not trying to be toxic.

I just want to inhibit my ability to be toxic due to really fast typing. Please?

Riot can't really permanently restrict your chat unfortunately. The most you can do is unbind your enter key, but I would research that more and see if it's possible/allowed.

There's also the advice of just don't let yourself use the chat if you're afraid of ruining games. But that's all on you and is all about self-control.

Outside of that I don't think there's much you can do regarding turning the chat off. Hopefully someone else can give more advice :)

You can change the configuration files for League's client to change the window size to 0. About it.

ooooh...thanks, this is much better than trying to minimize it through the in game settings,

...which still allows you to see kids typing lots of 'stuff'

...which of course tempts you into enlarging the window in order to actually read what they are saying

....in order to 'be a part of the team' or 'file a report' or some other nonsense

You can send in a ticket with Riot support, but they usually don't honor those requests. You can remove your chat using this

~110-120. It wasn't always that way. I used to have far lower WPM. Then I played more and more internet games and my WPM just increased over time.

I still need timers and occasionally "Bait baron, dont start it" but I don't want 20+ messages to rage with.

http://keytweak.en.softonic.com/ you disable your enter key and the program has to restart your computer in order to re-enable them. Can still see chat and time stamps by pressing Z.
