"defending" yourself from other people flaming you makes no sense

think about it: he/she is an internet stranger. as soon as your interaction with the flamer is over, he/she will stop existing from your point of view just like you didn't know they existed before you started interacting with them in the game

so why should you care about a flamer's insults? they are just words

The same goes for the people attacking someone they most likely will never see again after their encounter, it also makes no sense, in fact it makes far less sense than reacting to the said flaming.

And ofc, it also doesn't mean an attack shouldn't be defended just because it's from a stranger you've never seen and will never see again.

So, you mean I should track them and hunt them down IRL ?

Because people want to be right and want to prove someone else wrong so that's usually why they do it

Even though I completely agree with you

Why should you care enough to make a post about strangers? Because you're human, and humans have emotions.

I adore the fuck out of people who use the argument, "bro they're just words, words don't have meaning unless you give them meaning, blah blah blah blah blah".

You mean, you're not going to get offended when you're putting your honest effort into helping someone else or your team, and then having that person or team bite you in the ass for something completely outrageous or unreasonable?

When people are called names or insulted personally, it affects them? Who knew?

Why should people care about any exchange of words for that matter? They're just words, so who gives a shit?

Why do you pretend not to give a fuck, when you clearly give a fuck?

what are you talking about makes no sense? if you are a man then you are taught when someone hits you in the mouth you hit them back. if you just take it then you are inviting them to hit you whenever they want.

yes I know insults and words are not the same thing, but its the same principle. when someone attacks me with words all my instincts tell me to give as good as I get. it makes a lot of sense to stand up for yourself. just quietly ignoring it is very counter-intuitive for a lot of people.

spoken like a true bronze 9 troll. people who actually complain about flamers are bad players, because they always get flamed for being bad. You won't win a game if someone in your team is handicapped, you can win a game if someone in your team says some combination of a few words, which you can ignore by pressing a button. you can't make someone not feed or kick out of lane and to take all your cs with a button. also they don't get banned because they never say anything in chat. System is flawed because replays never get reviewed and Riot doesn't care why somebody flames.

If everyone could be less blind no one would ever get banned cuz this is true for most of us, sadly weaklings among us cannot handle themselves and they give into empty insults that mean nothing and end up paying for it with their own time

What a world we live in:)

People who say words are just words, are most usually the ones being constantly toxic. AS SOON as somebody goes out of their way to flame you in chat, at that point you can either mute them, or because nobody mutes, flame them back. Last time I checked, toxic was when you engage somebody in chat and constantly abuse them through pings and hate. Responding to getting flamed is honestly perfectly acceptable. "The Cream Reaper" I've seen your other posts and comments around here and I gotta say you must either be trolling 100% of the time or be numb to the feeling of how destroying somebody in chat after they flame you feels. Cause it feels great, and in retaliation, should never be reportable.

Generally the person being flamed is being flamed for having an off game, so theyre already stressed to some extent. Responding back just ends up being a way for them to deal with some of said stress.

makes even less sense when with the click of a button you will no longer see any messages from them

I just mute idiots and report them at the end I really feel like flamming people if I have to smell the toxic smell coming out of their mouths.

I just had a player in my game go Garen jungle and at like level 5 he kept running into lane and taking XP / CS, he clearly knew in chat it was unwanted and did it like two other times after completely ruined my lane phase and the game all he would do is run around and Q people Kill stealing players on the team, normally I wouldn't complain about kill stealing, but when a player is intentionally upsetting players who are trying to win a game in promos, refuses to stop and then does that something needs to be done about it.

I even told the player if he wanted to go Mid go mid, and they never really bothered to go there unless I was there playing the lane, I mean there is absolutely no way a player can be playing a game know they are upsetting a player who is playing and continue to do this type of bullshit to try to bait the player on the team to say toxic stuff then get them banned via the automated system.

Like I understand accidents can happen, but when you keep doing it after you know it upsets players is the thing.
