why some supports like having kills

I find that there is a widely spread missconception here: if you are both atacking someone and the support gets the kill that is not a "kill steal", but a "kill secured". If a support say... flash+ignites a player that was going to die anyway due to some effect of yours that is still on them (like a cait ult) then THAT is a kill steal

as a support main, i find that whenever i attempt to be nice and let the adc have the kill during a teamfight, the other player tends to **either **

get away,

kill my adc and get away,

kill me and get away,

kill my adc and then die,

kill my adc, me and then die

or

kill my adc, me and get away.

i'd rather avoid those probabilities so if you're buthurt about me having more kills than you'd like then TOO BAD

Whenever an adc says "KS" or my kill etc...ik they are bad and then I proceed to build pure damage asap.

If your adc is Vayne just dodge.

Don't ask me why.

It took me a few times to realize that giving your enemy the chance to get away is never worth it. Kill steal is kill secured.

2 words for you, maximum damage.

I feel your pain. I was even reported for kill stealing as Janna with full support build (ardent, redemption etc.). I don't know how I attempted to land last shots on enemy that many times but I didn't do it intentionally, it was in fervour of fighting and I'm sure that if I wouldn't fight beside my adc he would be dead many times. My adc was very angry, he was shouting at me constantly and then he started to feed enemy by going under their turret, standing there and waiting for death (without attacking anybody). He said that he wanted to make justice by giving them kills. We managed to win that game, but it was very bad one.

After that unfortunate game I made a habit to stop attacking enemies when they were very low hp and just leave them to adc, but then very often enemies just escaped with 5 hp or somehow managed to kill adc or me, so now I just screw it and do my work. If I gain a kill, too bad. Just like you said.

IKR, they seem to think that we "MUST" give them the kills even if it means the enemy getting a double kill.

Thats ADC's for you though, wonder if they will ever change. [sg-lulu]

Hey,

There's nothing wrong with this thread except it's in the wrong sub-section of the Boards. Player Behavior is for discussions that " revolve around player behavior systems or in-game suspensions."

If you want to talk about playing as a support and if it's a steal or secured, you can go ahead and post this on Gameplay. I'll go ahead and lock this one up.

It feels bad, preach it out fellow supporter! Its an art form to feed the adc kills in any elo, keep on doing it and it should get easier. However if you wanted a adc with different perspectives on it. They are out there, when in doubt add someone whose like that :) If anything do what i do, Even tho i have 400K + mastery points on my rank 7 soraka i still play adc to stop the flow of horrid adcs from entering my queues. I may not be the best ad but i do have my moments and would love to be friends with like minded ppl :) [sg-soraka] [sg-miss-fortune]
