People just trolling when they start losing

Okay so I recently bought Fizz and I love him. I was laning against a Yasuo and he died 8 times before he got a kill on me... And he also had PROJECT: Yasuo skin. http://matchhistory.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/#match-details/NA1/2032070022/229441229?tab=overview

Then I played another game and this Ryze started feeding... And then he started soloing baron each time he respawned... The Ryze was purposely feeding. I kept trying to surrender but the Lee Sin was like "OH SINCE THIS RYZE IS TROLLING I'M GOING TO TROLL HIM BY STAYING IN GAME LONGER BY LETTING HIM TROLL EVEN MORE!" so it'd always be a 3/2 vote. I made friends with the enemy Zed I was lanning against and he reported them as well. I just find it's so stupid of how our top lane and jungle was purposely throwing the game... And the thing is I don't even think they got a small ban! Like seriously look at this Ryze's score and count the enemy team's kills with all of our team's deaths... I kept asking the enemy team to report them and I friended Zed because he was nice and he felt sorry that I got no ganks. I didn't do the best but I still tried... Gah.

That's a violation. You can't try to farm reports against allies.

It depends on how you go about it.

Asking the enemy to report something that was done in ally chat isn't helpful, since they don't actually know what's going on.

When the enemy team can clearly see what's going on, and you say something like "Can we agree Ryze's behavior is report worthy?", I'm more OK with that.

It doesn't serve a purpose.

Extra reports don't really matter, if the person is breaking the rules one report will suffice.

The problem is that when the offense is subjective, such as someone who is having a bad game and has a terrible kda, telling the enemy team to report them or even suggesting that they are intentionally feeding will destroy team morale to the point that it's essentially gamethrowing.

Very true on both accounts.

I think it's a natural reaction for most people when something really wrong is going on (clear intentional feeding in this case) to validate your position that it's wrong. That validation often comes by talking about it with others, either in the game or after the game. I guess the question I have is can such validation happen in game in a way that is still acceptable.

If you looked at the match history you can see that Ryze was PURPOSELY getting killed. He got at least killed twice by baron even though no one else was doing baron. He was PURPOSELY feeding. Zed could see that. His whole team could see that.

The question isn't about if he's intentionally dying (dying to Baron isn't feeding, since the other team doesn't get the gold), but what your response to it should have been. I'm certain some intentional feeders/suicides are done just to get a reaction, which a call in all chat for their report would have done.

Okay you're starting to sound like you were there. You can't go around saying "o but since ryze wasnt rlly giving the enemy gold he wasnt rlly feeding" because he wasn't playing the game properly. Going to baron and trying to kill it over and over isn't feeding (even though he already fed) but the fact he was trying to kill baron at level 13 and try to solo it can't be considered "not trolling". And so yes, the question is about if he's intentionally dying because in soccer, you don't just intentionally go sit on the bench and do nothing right? You can't say "o cus since he wasnt actlyy helping de enemyer tem by givin dem gowles he wasnt trellerusing" because he obviously was trying to NOT win. It doesn't matter that you think Ryze 'wanted' me to ask for reports in all chat because that's the only way you can get things done, by having enough reports. If I report him and no one else does then so what? He has nothing on him. I've been false reported dozens of times and since it's only 1 or 2 people who got mad because I was fed or something doesn't do jack to me.

You're wrong on the number of reports needed, just one will do.

That is, of course, unless you have a habit of falsely reporting people. Those people who are mad and report you for nothing don't count.

Just because I was upset doesn't mean I false report. One won't do. I once reported someone who, as everyone else could see, was trolling and being rude. I got a automated message saying Riot thanks me for reporting because obviously that guy go banned.

Oh, I see what's going on! You're miss understanding my "one report will do" statement!

One report per game does as much as nine reports per game. You're absolutely right that it takes multiple games for someone to get punished.
