I just started ranked after a three month break and I'm already getting intentional feeders

I quit three months ago because I was getting toxic players in 90% of games at Diamond V, and no longer enjoyed the anti-competitive nature of ranked.

I just started again, and first game, our jungle tries to surrender a 17-15 game at 15 minutes. Surrender vote fails, he says 'gg team wont ff' in all chat, and then starts intentionally feeding while acting like he isn't in chat.

This situation has literally not improved at all. Why isn't this behavior being dealt with more harshly?

Riot has no system to ban soft inters so...

Four games, three people giving up and intentionally feeding.

This Miss Fortune tried to surrender while the enemy team was at Baron. We refused. So she went AFK. We fought them on Baron and we almost won the fight 4v5, then she says 'can we surrender yet?' and literally runs it straight down mid lane three times, then goes AFK again, pictured below.

This player also has multiple games where it went AFK in it's history, made evident by unusually low levels, so it's not like this is an isolated incident; yet it's still not banned, and has been playing since season 3.

This is completely retarded. I don't even want to play anymore, if I'm going to get this in 3/4 games.

And yet again. 5/6 games today.

Our support got mad that we wouldn't surrender after our ADC went 0-4, and started intentionally feeding. Top told it to keep playing or we'd all report it, and it responded 'go ahead, nothing will happen.'

This is fucking sad. These players know they can get away with this behavior.

as other people pointed out the report system only detects and punish flamers and hard inters. if ones is trolling or inting without making it too obvious, he can get away easy. i trolled dozens of games with anivia and still no bans, because the report system is broken

Not sure what made you think the community, much less the toxic community that is D5, became less toxic after only three months

I've seen more of it than I would like. Not strictly feeders, but a lot of ragequitters, which is just as bad honestly.

A recent game comes to mind. We had a bizarre comp including Trynd mid and Ziggs bot, something you would expect to see in a previous season. Our Xin JG decided to invade, got caught, and got out. He spam pinged the Trynd for help in a bad fight, went in alone, and died. Instantly dced.

Thankfully he came back about 5 mins later and we won the game.

The worse of these was in a game where I won lane, bot won lane, and our Renekton top afked. He came back about 10 minutes later, but we lost 4v5 for the whole time, and gave up drag and herald. His first item when returning? Warmog's. Despite not having the health, he rushed it. He then ignored us telling him to build health so it would work, continued to feed, and then we lost.

And again.

4/5 games have had players give up and intentionally feed, because we wouldn't surrender.
