Instant Feedback Reports need to be more common

In my opinion, they should happen every time you report somebody, and it should tell you which summoner got banned. I've had 2 afks and 1 inter in my past 10 games and none of them have been banned.

Not having instant feedback reports is making it harder to trust Riot telling us they're doing something about it, and making it much harder to keep my cool and not be toxic to people who think it's okay to int and afk because they're doing poorly.

I agree that this makes it harder to trust Riot, but they can't just give us feedback on every report we give. That would enable toxic players to reverse engineer how the system punishes them, giving them an opportunity to find ways to circumvent the system.

I actually have an idea for both the feedback and a Trubunal-like system.

  • IFS: keep the 5-10 most recent reports a player makes on file. If any of those match a punishment, send the "A player you reported..." message. I believe it would raise visibility the system works, without overloading players with notices.

  • Tribunal: Instead of being a strictly punishment decision, make it a checkpoint for player attitudes about in game behavior. If nothing is at stake, the age of the game wouldn't matter if the system backs up and players wouldn't be confused by feedback on games they've forgotten even playing.

I second this.

An observation between my main and my smurf when playing urf, players are equally intolerable, displaying various types to toxic behavior. Spanning from macro'd spam. ie: gg ez entered in chat hundreds of times that also pour into the post game lobby. Racial slurs like saying, gg dumbass n----*rs. And it's about even from both sides. However, on my smurf I tend to get the report feedback more frequently than I do on my main. Which is to say that smurfs are generally more easily punished, probably because they have such a short history in behavior or in general. Whereas toxic players around my level, 150+ are acting no less different than the smurfs I've encountered yet I rarely see the effect or the feedback on my reports.

Tell us how your pessimism works when you get banned. If your primary concern is not with your own performance but other players, sorry to say this but I wouldn't want you on my team.
