Can some from Riot please explain why its not ok to afk when im being trolled?

When it is obvious I'm being trolled - as in, i have multiple people running into towers dying, or other people that never connected to the match, or someone purposely following my around my jg to steal it with no intention of playing the game- Why do i have to sit through that?

That is the most toxic part of league, is that I'm a hostage when I'm being trolled by players that wont get punished, but i get punished if i get fed up with it and leave the game. Why am i punished twice by trolls?

Can someone from Riot please explain why i have to sit through matches that are obvious attempts to try to ruin my experience? Since you're now into immediate response for reports, you know valid reports as soon as leaverbuster knows I've left, so why cant the one offset the other? If people were reported as trolling or legitimately ruining the game, why cant i then get a pass on afking?

  1. Because now instead of having 1 troll, your team is stuck with a troll and an AFK.
  2. Because other people's behavior isn't an excuse for your own.
  3. Because now you are ALSO in trouble. and finally
  4. Because you are letting the troll know his mission to irritate you has been successful, validating his behavior and giving what he wants. He gets his fun from irritating people. Stop giving him his fun and he will eventually realize how much of his life he is wasting.

Because you're doing nothing but extending that negative behavior on your other teammates who are also victims of the trolls.
