League is one of the only games I cannot watch the LCS because of the Hate Speech Spam

I love the LCS, I love watching League....also though what I like to do is see people's reaction of Big plays and cool moves, to see if they are reacting the same as me. **That's a huge part why I watch it ** All I see though is spam of Racism and Bigotry and non-stop hatred. Riot if you cared at all about changing your community, You should talk with Twitch about your partnership to have Moderators take this stuff out.

It's really really sad to look at, and honestly not only does it make me stop watching it altogether. It shuns me away from your game because there's just so much other positive things to do and look at.

Now I know this stuff exists everywhere online. Mainly it's because you can hide your face behind a screen, however that's not my point.

My point is there is an overwhelming amount of people in League that behave this way. When you look at this community without filter it's actually the most disgusting group of human beings on the internet.

I saw jokes about Children dying. Spam of mass genocide, extremely extremely dangerous stuff.

Riot from one human to another. This isn't even about gaming anymore. If you really wanted to fix your community, you would try to fix anything League. Everything involving League, which ties to your organizational behavior of Riot. Not just stop it because it loses you money in game. Stand firm against bigotry and hatred. Start doing your part

LOL riot can't change anything on twitch if you don't like it and can't get used to twitch chat oh well I'm sorry to tell you this but you might have to view it somewhere else.

Also you expect too much of riot "If you really wanted to fix your community you would try to fix anything league. Everything involving league," So you want them to go to twitch and youtube and ask them to filter the chat because one person feels this way?

This is easily easily done btw and many many games have implemented it. Hearthstone for example you cannot say 90% of the things said in League games on Twitch. Riddle me that genius, also Smash Brothers, small time games have extremely well moderated chats, it's really only League where it's this bad

Watch on lolesports.com Even if you choose the twitch stream from there (can choose between twitch, youtube, and azubu), twitch chat isn't there.

I put in bold, one of the reasons I like to watch games is to see other people reaction to big plays and stuff. However the whole community instead is just focusing on hatred of eachother, whether EU or NA or Racism or Genocide

Ah. I read it as being less directly related to the people in twitch chat. Like, the reactions of the commentators and live audience.

Yeah, like if I watch a Baseball stream. It's mostly about Baseball, if I watch a Hockey stream it's mostly about Hockey, same with Football, Soccer and all that.

Sure you get the odd bigot or hate speech here and there but a lot of the times, those people are instantly banned or everyone ignores them completely or mutes them.

In League theres an OVERWHELMING amount of them. There's so much hate speech going on you would spend your whole day muting people and never stop seeing endless spam of hate. Hardly any reaction to plays, and if there is reaction is a extremely hate-filled one (THIS PERSON DIED BECAUSE HE"S A *****) not because the other player made an insane play

You're missing the point. I shouldn't have to, same way as I shouldn't have to mute people in- game they have a banning system for it.

Other video games have moderators for their chat, it's really inexpensive and goes a long way. Why can't Riot do the same thing, especially when they are branded one of the worst communities in online gaming

Riot Games broadcasting on Twitch chat. What people also don't understand is that his is entirely based on them. Riot Games on Twitch chat is like any other streamer, they can moderate their chat, infact they DO have moderators in chat. If you say "f***G, you will be timed out. However if you say "Sandy hook was a great thing" or "kill all muslims" or "kill all americans" literally nothing happens.

That's all you end up seeing in the chat. The whole time during the LCS all you can see is extreme toxic racism and this is 100% their fault for not adding proper moderators.

I see where you are coming from, though I have never watched the chat.

You càn really go to lots of streamers and see that.

How could riot protect against that?

A lot of games easily moderate their chat. Just by entering a /rgk mode ban sentence into the chat it will immediately time out people who do that. It's just weird to see them doing NOTHING about it. It's very inexpensive, and alot of other games do it. Why not Riot? This is a HUGE issue for their game already, they have been trying to fix the image of League for years now. A good starting step is to be consistent in where they allow this behavior.

The answer: No where that they can help it.

I understand and agree op. I refuse to watch any game with Renegades that involves a chat because of the plethora of morons being completely disgusting human beings over transgender people.
