My way of dealing with trolls and not getting reported for retaliation.

A couple games ago I had a player on my team who after told to stop spam pinging decided to passive aggresively throw our game. He would farm jg continuniously in both jungles well knowing our base was dying and it was 5v4 at 40mins. There was nothing we could do to get him banned simply because Riot doesn't see this as trolling they see it as "being bad"

I tried my hardest to not give up and rage at him. Eventually 3 team fights later and 10mins later I eventually snapped a bit on him. I just said let's all follow him around so we can at least use him as bait.

I knew this was wrong and I feel bad for it post game, but what happened next actually taught me a HUGE lesson.

Once we lost from our 1 troll refusing to group and farming as far from the enemy as possible.

What surprised me was the attitude of the opposite clearly less skilled team(we were up 14-3 until our jg threw intentionally)

They actually commended him for trolling and would say things like "nope not reportable" "no he's just bad" "not reporting too bad ez game"

The was insult to injury and had our team on full salt mode, however the lesson I learned is, whenever met with a troll on your team.

Just imagine the enemy team to be filled with equally awful, terrible human beings and it will make your will to win that much greater rather than falling for self sabotage of yourself.

On a side note: Riot do something about this please.

Rekt, that'll teach you to troll the players less fortunate and not as skilled. Same type of person that talks down to kids, total degenerate type.
