Remember when you didn't get called a troll for refusing a ff vote?

Back then we used to praise people for never giving up and always trying their best to save a game. Now we call them trolls because "they are wasting my time" and some people even go as far as saying that it is reportable to vote no.

The superiority complex some players have. If they know they will lose surrendering makes it hurt less for them. Seeing the defeat banner hurts that complex of theirs. I always decline the surrender if they're in the base anyway. Not much point to surrender so late in

I fucking hate this line of reasoning because it strawman's the hell out of everything. I want more players to not quit. But if you don't have the mechanics/priorities to win, then it's not worth playing. Period.

If the enemy Jungler has a 4 to 1 gank rate on a lane, then the game is probably over. If no one calls MIAs, wards, or someone keeps split pushing and getting killed, then it's not worth it. I don't mind if you screw up, but if people are telling you what you're doing wrong, and you continue to do it, then you're not worth playing with.

Sucking isn't a reason to quit. People who refuse to educate themselves due to sheer laziness aren't worth playing with. People who never quit - never - are trolls.

it actually is reportable in some cases

Unless you mean the time when the game was still in beta (wasn't around then) such a time really hasn't existed. It's become a more common sentiment these days, admittedly, but that is in part because the game has become more snowbally since then. If you still had the time to play it out, back in the first few seasons it really made little sense to surrender in the first place.

When exactly was that?

I remember these times where the game wasn't a snowball festival. There was a time tower were not made out of paper, and a stupid rift herald that does a million true damage to towers.

I too miss the days when snowballing wasn't completely out of control and comebacks were possible.

my last ranked game we were down 4-17 in score towers and we started turning the game around at 15 i said "i can carry if i get fed if not its over" i got fed the score became even we won almost every fight and we won 6 win streak leggo

its because a common form of trolling is to deliberately stall out a losing game for the sole purpose of preventing people from leaving or risk being reported for afk. im not saying you do this. but people actually do troll by refusing to surrender games that they KNOW are unwinnable

I could care less for ranked tbh. Do it for the rewards and be done with it. Otherwise I just stick to normal games or Aram

If the game is HOPELESSLY one sided surr... if not fight. Voting no when it's 10-30 and you have no towers is actually just stupid. Voting to surr when it's 22-30 is kind of dumb because you can turn that
