Life happens. Those aren't "soft" punishments, that's you trying to see someone else suffer for legitimate accidents.

So you're always in the wrong if you're playing alongside a 3 or 4-man team then?
I think an easy solution is to just put a 30 min timer on the account for the next game. Can't log out and dodge it, just have to leave the client open for half an hour. Massive LP drops are not the answer.
