elduris2 votesIf you report them and they are banned within a short time frame, you will get the notification. Used to be that your report had to trigger the ban, but they have since updated it to allow for better feedback.

I've had this issue with Elduris before, he didn't read a post about "remake" well and started talking about "loss prevention" when it had nothing to do with the issue.
My biggest criticism is that arbiters are lazy and don't take their positions as examples of community seriously, and most of the time they misinform and guide wrong. I really miss you as an arbiter and in my opinion (and many who know you and the rest of arbiters) the bar was set too low to pick arbiters. This is one of the reasons this board is one of the least popular and also why I think the arbiters sticky post was removed... even Riot lost faith in arbiters.

It wasn't removed, just un-pinned. The Arbiters collectively asked for a bit of tidying up around the boards, so we had a Rioter move some things around. You can find a link to the Arbiter post in the "Welcome to Player Behavior & Moderation" thread. :)

if you win 56%-60% of rank games and win on a consistent basis you will climb and the one afk here and there wont hurt you that much and p.s. the other team is just as likely to get an afker as you are... and it typically only happens in 8-12% of games...

rank isnt something to be ashamed of. i feel rank is just a way for riot to put players of similar skill levels vs each other so they can have fair games and enjoy and have fun playing the game... hear me out...
you are bronze.. what if every game you matched vs plats and diamonds? and you get stomped up and down the map and the game is no fun to you.. are you likely to keep playing if that is what happens every time?
on the other hand if your plat/diamond whatever "high" elo if you playing vs people lower skill level then you is that fun not every being challenged? it would be like if you were to go play a game co op vs bots or a custom game vs bots and the difficult is set on easy?
how fun is that?
so in theory rank is there to put us vs people we have a chance to win against while being challenged so the game is fun and rewarding at the same time and keeps you playing..

It sucks just having to playing what has to be a non-serious game from champion select in order to just report the most toxic players, I just wish people would stop griefing silver during endseason. It's already hard enough with my dad having to do doctor visits all season.

Maybe if you guys ff instead of wasting his time you wouldn't have these problems. I'm never against rage quitting if you're playing with highly unskilled team. It's just a waste of time. People are trying to climb, it's best not to waste their time.
I'm trying to get to Silver again for the 3rd time this season before the season ends. And while I don't doubt I can do it, I can easily tell which teams I can carry and which teams I cannot and the biggest time waster is having to play out a game with a bunch of people you know just can't cut it. It would be much easier to climb if we could simply leave these games and try again next game. I admit, I rage quit from time to time when I'm playing with really terrible teams, though I wouldn't really call it rage. It's more like not wanting to put effort into something you know will yield no fruit.
I would really love for Riot to allow people to leave games whenever they want.
