@Riot, when someone gets reported do you see Champion Select Chat or just In-Game chat?
With all the issues that can happen in Champion Select, do you actually get to see the chat log if someone gets reported?

First of all, it is a bot that determines the punishment, not riot themselfes. The bot sees all the chats in the champ select, ingame and aftergame lobby. Hope it helped.
From what I've seen they've always used in game text as proof rather than in client so It's only safe to assume they only check in game logs.
