@Riot, when someone gets reported do you see Champion Select Chat or just In-Game chat?

With all the issues that can happen in Champion Select, do you actually get to see the chat log if someone gets reported?

First of all, it is a bot that determines the punishment, not riot themselfes. The bot sees all the chats in the champ select, ingame and aftergame lobby. Hope it helped.

I thought that you had to specifically mention post game or champ select in the reports if you wanted them checked. Good to know. Thanks.

The only thing that Riot's automated system does is do a preliminary check before it's passed onto Riot. Riot Player Moderation is what handles the punishments.

Apart from that, the Automated system will simply deal with stuff detected within the game/game files themselves (Scripting, AFKing Behaviours etc).

I'd say closer to 95% of the punishments are dealt through the bots.

If I'm not mistaken, pre/post game chat is punished through manual checks.

This is actually wrong. An employee doesn't look over every little ban just permanent. There isn't enough time in the day to look over complaints haha

From what I've seen they've always used in game text as proof rather than in client so It's only safe to assume they only check in game logs.
