Flaming happens in chat, so instead of a permanent ban, why not opt for a permanent mute? And don't give me the "communication is important" nonsense. You can still send pings and don't really have time to do anything else if you're focused. Do you see LCS players typing away, no they are too busy playing!

If a "jerk" such as an intentional feeder, feeds, he should be banned because there's no way to stop his behavior. But for flamers a mute is a much simpler fix!

No, see, that's not the point. The flamer could just STOP. If he doesn't stop after 3 times, what's the point? That person doesn't care enough about the rules or others to stop, so why have them at all?
