forced afk for feeders?

i have a proposal that while controversial. would minimize the potential for a feeder to ruin a game.

after minute 10. and before minute 20. if a player has at least 8 deaths. a vote could be implemented. to force the player to stay in fountain. the player would recieve zero LP. "would not lose lp to prevent premades trolling with the vote" and would have to be unanimous minus the person being kicked. and would be unable to chat or leave fountain during the game and would not be flagged by leaverbuster. would still be able to be reported if applicable

I don't really want there to be a strategy where they constantly gank someone to try and get a 5v4.

at the point in the game you'd be able to do it. it wouldnt really matter. the concept is more to make it so you can turn a 4v6 into a slightly more favorable 4v5. you could also just make it so you can /remake if a player feeds badly enough.

There's a good reason why "feeders" aren't banned as often as we'd like; because it's often difficult to discern whether it was intentional or not. A system that requires no review of a player's chat, history, or circumstance can not possibly be considered for use in punishing a player.

the player wouldnt be punished. they would be just forced to stay in base and have the game treated as a /remake

Remakes count as a loss for them and flag them as an afk, so yes it's a punishment. Even if they received none of that, making you stay in base is punishment as well.

it would basically be a reverse /remake where everyone except the guy stuck in base still gains/loses lp normally where the guy kicked would just get zero. if staying in base is a concern. remove them from the game and allow them to requeue instead

So basically if my team plays like legends, ganks their mid over and over, catches them out, and utterly demolishes them, making them go 0-8, I don't get a win for that??? If I stomp their top lane so hard and dive them at their tier 2 turret a lot, killing them 8 times, I don't get a victory for that? That sounds ridiculous. You're punishing me for playing well.

you would still get a victory. just the feeder would get loss prevented.and the mmr system would assume they were laning against a smurf. unless they get reported

the other option i thought of. would be to vote to "replace player with a bot" where the player would simply be removed from game. replaced with a bot. not lose LP and be given an amount of IP based on how long they were in game

So if a player is playing bad, he shouldnt be allowed to continue playing and improve?
