Holding the game hostage

There has been a huge surge in entire games being held hostage at all stages: in champion select, during the start of the game, in the middle of the game, and in the endgame. Someone will decide to autotilt and hold the game hostage, whether for ego reasons or what, I cannot imagine.

The community seems to have gotten it into their head that this is okay to do. As I write out this thread, the last guy who held the game hostage just got punished. Don't stop there, Riot. Make them ALL pay. Anyone who even THINKS about sabotaging a game should be struck down with the full weight of the banhammer.
