I'm not sure if this goes in gameplay or player behavior, but picture your mid lane going 10/8 flaming top lane for being 0/5. The 10/8 player is giving more gold to the enemy than the 0/5 player. So why flame the person who's 0/5 when you guy 10/8?

Its a take what you can but give nothing back motto, but mid lane is taking more gold and setting a higher gold lead than shes giving back.

Lets say each kill is worth exactly 300g, 300x10=3000g; mid has 8 deaths, 8x300=2400g. So mid had set a gold lead of 600 gold. While the top is going 0/5, 5x300 is 1500g deficit, hes giving the enemy a gold lead without doing much in return.

However, there is no excuse for flamming someone over kda, kda doesnt mean everything, you can easily win games without killing anyone.

Well the 10/8 player is not giving the enemy team as much of a gold advantage, assuming every kill is worth 300 gold, the enemy team has gained 2.4k gold off of that player, that player has made 3k gold off of the enemy team, resulting in them having a 600 gold advantage over the enemy, whilst the 0/5 player has just given away 1.5k gold to the enemy team, and has not earned any for themselves. (Numbers may vary due to fluctuation of kill gold value depending on amount of deaths and first blood/shutdowns)

He should not be flaming anyone for doing poorly. But as others have pointed out with math, I'll point out in this way - the mid laner is participating. If that top laner has zero assists, then they're stagnating in the game and feeding gold to the enemy. Mid may be dying more, but with a score like that he probably has decent CS, roamed, helped with dragons, got a tower, etc.

What are their assists?
