Pretending that you were otherwise amicable or trying to get the enemy team to gang up on someone accomplishes nothing.

It's just more evidence that will result in you getting punished.

False. I've seen plenty of people persuade the other team to report someone and antagonize them to a point where anything they do in chat can be misconstrued as toxicity.

I have yet to see someone post a chat log on here that didn't warrant a punishment. The only bans that I ever see worth complaining about are ones for 3rd party program use of programs that have nothing to do with LoL. I've seen people getting banned for using a program they needed for school in the background that was picked up as a 3rd party program by the LoL servers.

People who post their chat logs on the boards whining about punishment just goes to show that they need to be permabanned for not thinking they are doing anything wrong.

I always know who was punished. I get a notification about 90% of the time that I report someone because I use the report button very sparingly. The times that I do report 1 person, I get a message either later that day or the next day and know exactly who it was. People abuse reporting way too much and I have a hunch that the system keeps track of how often and what kinds of players people report to determine whose reports should get a closer look at. Way too many people report people who just have bad games. There is a difference between getting a little salty about a bad game and raging at the game (not their teammates) and someone who constantly flames people for every mistake that others make. There is also a clear difference between feeding and getting stomped. A score of 0/7/0 could be either. I can tell when people are making an active effort to come back and are just getting hammered harder each time they get back to lane. I can also tell when people don't care and just run it down the lane to die on purpose. There shouldn't be nearly as many reports as there are. False reports overload the system which is why I think it has priority report detection for people who use it responsibly.

Example of every single ban complain chat I have ever seen posted:

I got banned. Here was my last chat log. These kids were such feeding trolls. OMG why am I banned Riot. I didn't even do anything wrong. It takes 2 to argue.

You weren't necessarily reported for chat this game. You refused to communicate with your team. By your all chat, which is a common theme in punishment logs btw, it is obvious that Yasuo reported you for refusing leave when you are eating up his exp and gold.

Just a side note, I'm with Vayne on the farming choice. Most supports are very strong early game with high base damages and 2 ADC's don't stand a chance.

I'm literally shaking right now. riot is so fucking tyrannical. I said "gg cait is being racist and homophobic in the chat" to the enemy team because I didn't like the cait and I LITERALLY got BANNED. it's literally my freedom of speech to lie, harrass, and slander people. rito pls.

it probably wont end in you getting punished, as long as you werent being really toxic in chat, the instant punishment system they have wont pick up anything that matches its criteria as toxic.

I almost always am more inclined to report the person complaining that their teammate is flaming in team chat than I am the person being complained about.

The only all chat report requests I consider are the 'player x is afk all game' and only consider if it is really obvious that they haven't been on the map at all (no items, no CS no KDA at 5 minutes). Then screw those guys.

That's why I don't use all chat, there's absolutely no benefit to using it other than saying "nice play," "you're a good player," and so on. But about 80% of the time it's people trolling to the other team, people flaming, and/or doing what you just said.

dicking around and having a good time is also fun if the enemy team is nice. but that rarely happens.

I really don't understand how ppl who ask enemies to "report X he is been flaming/toxic all game!" think the enemies are actually going to do so...

I mean, the enemies cannot know what X said or didn't say.

1 report for 1 game has the same impact as 9 reports for that same game. Riot has confirmed it. So there's no use persuading other people to report someone since it won't matter as long as one person reports him.

Wrong, it has already been stated over and over that if a Riot employee sees multiple reports for one game they can escalate the ticket/investigation.
